Cornhill Castle.

If a fairytale castle wedding is what you want for your countryside wedding, then the Cornhill Castle in Biggar is the ideal option for you.

Situated beside the River Clyde and with a prime view of the Lanarkshire Hills, the Castle dates back to the mid 1800s - steeped in local history.

Experience the gorgeous countryside of South Lanarkshire as your backdrop for your big day and tie the knot in a genuine 19th century castle.

The Busby Hotel.

On the fringes of Glasgow’s South Side, the Busby Hotel calls Clarkston home. This beautiful hotel wedding venue is crested above the banks of the White Cart Water, and boasts the Cart and Kittoch Valley on its doorstep.

With the Busby Glen Park but a stonesthrow from the venue, the Busby Hotel presents the best of the Scottish countryside coupled with the convenience of being within a half an hour drive from Glasgow city centre.

Lynnhurst Hotel.

West of Glasgow, tucked away in Johnstone, Renfrewshire, is the Lynnhurst Hotel. With magnificent gardens and grounds, the Lynnhurst will provide a countryside feel that’ll be perfect for those wanting the countryside aesthetic while remaining close to transport links such as Glasgow or Prestwick Airports.

With Johnstone Castle on the Lynnhurst’s doorstep, Gleniffer Braes Country Park to the South and Clyde Muirshiel Regional Park to the South West, there’s no shortage of stunning scenery.
