Frequently asked questions about wedding planning with The Torrance

We can comfortably accommodate parties of up to 120 for your wedding dinner, and up to 160 for your evening wedding reception.

You can book a wedding with us at any time, subject to our availability. However, we don’t want you to miss out on your dream wedding venue, so we recommend booking in advance.

Your wedding co-ordinator will be your point of contact from your first appointment to the big day itself. They can answer any of your questions and advise on booking other suppliers.

We have all-inclusive packages available that take care of many of the details, such as cake, florals and DJ, so there’s less for you to plan yourselves.

Yes. We highly recommend and encourage couples to take a tour of our venue before booking. Book a showround appointment to have a private tour of all of our wedding spaces and the chance to chat with our wedding co-ordinator about your wedding plans.

To make your stay in the Honeymoon Suite even more special, you can add Champagne, Prosecco or red, white & rosé wine to enjoy in the room.

Why not also book afternoon tea for two with an optional glass of bubbly, served in our restaurant, to make your stay even more memorable?

Yes, yours will be the only wedding taking place on your wedding day at The Torrance, and you will have the wedding spaces exclusively for you and your guests.

The DJ is included in some of our wedding packages, but you are free to arrange your own band and ceremony musicians. If you’d like help finding these suppliers, just ask your wedding co-ordinator during the planning process.

Yes, the hotel has 16 bedrooms which your guests can book, and an overnight stay in our beautiful Stuart Suite is included for the newlyweds in our packages.

Please note bedroom bookings are subject to availability and can be booked using your wedding discount code within 18 months of the wedding date.

I just want to say how amazing the Torrance Hotel and the staff are! We got married here on the 28.10.23 and we could not have asked for anything more. Infact the whole day was well above our expectations! From the minute we viewed this venue we fell completely in love with it. The beautiful Torrance Hotel hosted our whole wedding last month and blew us away! Eilidh and Amy, who dealt with the booking of my wedding and the meetings running up to the big day, were so lovely and put us at ease from the start. They were very professional, helpful and informative at all times, so thank you so much to them. The cherry on the cake was the beautiful and luxurious honeymoon suite, with spiral staircase, full bar with cocktails and snacks, tv, sunken hot tub, wetroom and swinging basket chair. Wow, it was spectacular!
