Tarbet Hotel Dog Policy

Read Our Hotel Dog Policy

We are delighted that you have chosen to bring your dog to stay with you at our hotel. Every stay is made more memorable with your furry companion by your side. There are plenty of dog-friendly places for you all to enjoy. We have lots of great information on things to do in the local and surrounding areas, so make sure you take a look to plan the perfect stay.

Local Community

We would ask that while out exploring with your dog, you are respectful towards our local community and act responsibly whilst out walking.

We are very lucky to have some of Scotland’s best walking routes on our doorstep. Please take a moment to visit the Scottish Outdoor Access Code, which offers guidance on how to enjoy exploring the outdoors responsibly with your dog.

Thank you for taking the time to read our Dog Friendly Hotel Policy. We wish you a pleasant stay with us, and by following our policy, we can ensure all of our guests and dogs will have an enjoyable stay.

Our Dog Hotel Rules and Fees

Dogs are most welcome in our Standard Double and Twin Rooms on the 1st floor of the hotel, only at a rate of £10 per dog, per night. Your dog is also welcome throughout the hotel, including our restaurant and bar. They must be supervised and controlled at all times and must vacate the restaurant and bar by 7pm, as this is a busier period in these areas. In your room, we would ask that your dog be kept off any furniture, including the bed. Please hang the ‘Do Not Disturb’ sign on the door or let our reception team know if your dog is in the room unattended. When on hotel grounds or in surrounding areas, please use a dog poo bag for any fouling. We are sure you will make the most of your exploring with your dog, and a muddy, messy dog is a happy dog, but we kindly ask that you give your dog a good clean when you return to the hotel and your room.
